How to bounce back from setbacks (personally, in ministry, family, and community).
An optimist said, "Things could be worse." A pessimist said, "Things will get worse." But then Jesus came by and, seeing the man, took him by the hand and lifted him out of the pit. If you live long enough, you will find yourself at the bottom. The bottom may fall out for you financially, emotionally, or spiritually, but it will come. Everybody spends time at the bottom. The important thing to know is how to bounce back from the bottom. Jonah has shown us how to do this: by looking up in prayer, turning to God, and trusting the Lord to save you. Do you need help getting out of your pit this morning? Why not call out to the Lord and let Him lift you up?
